Thanks everyone. Well what a day I feel exhaused. Had bars of cadburys and walkers crsips and the packers said I cant take them because of mice when the shipment is at port. Anyway I sort of gift wrapped them and shoved them in somewhere!
They never commented on the paint but had wrapped them in polythene bags and packed in plastic containers with good fitting lids.
So far so good. one of my work colleagues turned up this evening with a curry for me they had a team lunch and brought me a delivered meal! This was great. Lay on my bed washing it down with a little wine! Going to have a bath now and go to bed early.

Hi Dot, looks like its all coming together. Not long to go now. How exciting/nervewracking!! Which shippers have you gone with? How would you rate them so far?

Hi Deb I have White and Co in and they have been very good so far. They arrived early this morning. The container is amazing. huge wooden crates inside and everything is wrapped individually. Most of my rooms are empty and I dont think it will take them all day tomorrow to finish off. they work very fast and there is only two of them.
