Anyone know if kids have to have their own passport to make the one-way trip? My eldest is still on my passport and it has three years left to run. Getting it changed in time to do the medicals etc may be a headache. Would be nice if I didn't have to worry about this and could just do a renewal through the British Embassy in a few years

I thought they had to have their own now even to fly to Europe, but it could just be that you need to get them their own when you renew your passport. Oops, sorry, no help at all then!!

Definitely okay in Europe - we did it very recently and never had a problem. I guess the only safe answer is to get a separate passport. With the medical stuff booked for 10 November, we should have enough time.
Pretty weary and worn out tonight after a week full of paperwork and appointment sorting :roll

Also remember that you all need full size birth certificates for visa's.
