Hi All

Well, I had my job interviews last week. The people from Counties-Manukau (Middlemore Hospital) were lovely, keen to employ me, very helpful. The people from Auckland Hospital were also lovely, helpful and keen to employ me - the difference was that they wanted me to come over, have a look and decide if it was where I wanted to be, whereas Middlemore have already offered me a job (at 0.6FTE - 24 hours a week which is what I wanted). And, Middlemore offer relocation assistance (financial) so long as you agree to stay there for 18 months. So I'm now waiting contracts etc in the post.
It's nice to know I've got a job to go to but very nerve wracking, especially seeing as I used to work at Middlemore 9 years ago and most of the staff are still there. Hmmm, now just trying to remember why I chose to leave:confused: !!

Anyways, its another step along the way to settling in Auckland. Now, if we could just exchange on the house.........

Isn't that when your stuff has been shipped and you open the boxes??

Nice one Debs, congratulations.

Rather than worrying about why you chose to leave, perhaps you should try to remember what you said when you left....and to whom? :D

glad of some goood news - Solicitors lost the Transfer deeds - so got to sign another copy thats arriving on RMSD 9am and then gota send it to Manchester RMSD b49am to make sure we stick to the 21st completion!! :wah oh the stress!
