Hi all,
Is there anybody around who could tell me how to apply for an IRD number without having already an address in NZ?
They do not recognize our application for a number without this information, but we will not have a physical address for a few months probably, since we want to live in a camper for a while.

Have you though of using a post restante mailing address or a post it on ( I think it's run by backpackers) address. Timbo was all clued up on this.
Do you know anyone in NZ whose address you could use or even apply for one now?

You can apply it through your home country. We did it and we got it before we left to NZ. Plus...it was quite FAST. We called them and explain that we get a PR and still overseas but want to acquire IRD card.
