I am wondering if there are likely to be any problems with bringing feather-filled duvets or cushion pads from the UK? I found a reference to such items on the MAF site, but couldn't figure out what it meant! Can anyone help?

cant answer that one but it could be that if they are domestic bedding they will have been treated. not I would think the sort they would be worried about. email them and ask, thats the safest way.

We bought a duck down & feather quilt and a set of pillows with us, but they were not llisted on the inventory separately, just "bedding", so spose it depends how it gets written up by the packers whether MAF inspect them or not.

I think I remember reading on the MAF site, and it was more to do with souvenir/decorative feathers, like ostrich/peacock, than ones used for furniture, but email them like Veronica says, they do answer you, fairly quickly too.
