For all those that like their fix of programmes about NZ -

A place in the sun - Channel 4 - 4pm - today (UK).

"Jasmine Harman takes a couple who want to swap their Colchester bungalow for a New Zealand one to see six properties under 80,000 pounds, ranging from weatherboard bungalows to renovated villas. "

It is a repeat, but we didn't catch it first time, so we're looking froward to watching it.

Enjoy!

Was it the one where they moved to the Bay of Plenty? That was quite a good one, I seem to remember. Was out today unfortunately, so missed it.

It was a retired couple looking mainly in Gisborne.

They were going to split their year half between the UK and half between NZ - what a fab idea eh? Maybe when we're retired in NZ, we'll get a holiday home in the UK and use it to visit Europe as well.

Pity I missed it. Yes, great idea if you can afford it! I suppose it's easier for a retired couple as they won't have kids living with them - it'd be just too unsettling for the kids to do that to them. Hope they repeat it again as I'd like to see that one.

I know what you mean - I can imagine one day when we're retired (of course many many years away!), we'll be splitting our time between the two.
