Hi all-
Earlier in the week we were fretting the time it was taking to hear back from London regarding our app. for PR. It's nice knowing that so many can relate as well as those who kindly pointed out that much of the NZ London crew were out for the conference/convention you all had there in the UK.
As we were doing every morning at 5:30 when we woke, I raced down to the computer yesterday to see if our case officer had written. YES! A nice quick note informing us that our application would be forwarded straight to residency and that our passports were on their way (after of course they make it through the passport queue!).
We hoisted a celebratory glass of champagne and drank in the news--and relief! Now we're booking flights, trying to nail down movers, work on timelines. Still oh-so-much to do but at least now we now we're really moving forward.
Hang in there everybody and thanks for all the great sharing of knowledge on this big leap.
