Hi,
I submitted my ITA today. However, I did not submit my police certificate from my home country as I haven't recieved it yet. My medicals will expire in the next one week and I had to submit my ITA for this reason. I did mention this in the cover letter and made a statement that police certificate will be sent as soon as it is available. Any suggestions?

I believe you will be OK, cause I had almost the same issue. (the difference was my police cert. came before I sent it out) but I emailed my case officer and she said "it's OK". But to double check, maybe email your officer and letting her/him know as well.

HI, I just had an email reminding me that I have one month left to send in my ITA (already done this on 31st) - it did say that I should send in as much as I can and say in the covering letter what is outstanding eg police cert - also said it would give a further month after submitting to get the rest of documents in. However, OH was told in person I had a few months to wait to get a case officer and this would give me time to get my qualifications and assessment back form NZQA. I think once ITA is in - it's a bit more flexible but you obvioulsy sit at bottom of pile if everything isn't there. Hope this helps.

thanks for the responses. I was a kind of worried thinking that they would send my ITA back. I sent my ITA in express mail and I checked the status online (postal). It was delivered to London office. Atleast, the countdown started and clock started ticking.

Don't worry, they will send you a list of things that are missing from the application. We submitted our ITA on the last day possible, and we had submitted the wrong birth certificates. They just asked that we send them as soon as possible, so don't worry, explaiin to them and you'll be fine.
