Hi everyone. Been away for a few days in West Wales for a break and upon returning yesterday had an email asking to arrange an interview. Organised it for this afternoon and now it's all done :clap.
Very friendly interviewer (Jenny). The experience was exactly like others have mentioned, i.e. it's not designed to catch you out, rather it's to make sure you've thought seriously about emigration, you have valid opportunities to work and have thought seriously about how you will integrate and settle.
Now......more waiting to hear how we got on :roll.
I know some were wanting to know time-frames, so it was just over 2 months between submitting ITA and our interview.
Cheers
Steve :nice1

Conga rats!! But methinks your sig needs changing - Interview on 3rd September? Think you got over excited there ;)Ooh, so I did. There'll be a whole host of people out there thinking it takes a week between ITA submission and interview:eek:.
I'll change it now to avoid any confusion :o

Thanks everone for your kind words.
Deborah, I know I asked Jenny what happened next and I know she gave me a thoughtful reply, but to be honest it all went blurry after I put the phone down and I'm now none the wiser. I think she said she'll send us a letter in the next few weeks.
Excellent news Steve!! Now all you need is to beat the ABs on Saturday!!!You must be confused Dee. England aren't playing the ABs tomorrow :D.
It's Gil who has the Celtic blood in our marriage, although with a Welsh wife and 3 Welsh children, I know who I'll be supporting.

Might be worth keeping an eye on the NZIS site to see if your "pending" gets changed before you get the letter :)

Might be worth keeping an eye on the NZIS site to see if your "pending" gets changed before you get the letter :)Good thought. Although having posted what I previously posted, there's every chance it'll change to "barred form entry". :D

Now where did I put my AB jersey....:laugh:laugh:laugh Yes, sorry, it was a bit OTT of me - after all it's not an unreasonable assumption that a chap going by the name of Cardiff Irons might actually be Welsh. Friends?
I'm currently working towards getting my son, William, interested in rugby. We've been to see Cardiff a few times and we both now proudly wear our Cardiff Blues rugby tops.
.....just realised I'm going wildly off-topic here!
