we have just had confirmation that we have our PR visas in principle & should have our passports back in the next couple of weeks! woo hoo! :raebanana

(always wanted to use the banana!)

although we havent posted very much the information & advice on the forum has been fantastic! a big thank you & hopefully we can more active on the fourm helping others in the future

sorry for the delay in replying but have been having trouble logging onto the forum...anyway all sorted now hopefully!

thank you soooo much for all your well wishes & congrats...we are so excited just don't know where to start with everything! (also, a little bit nervous too!)

Hi Cardiff Irons & Voice - simon has a job offer in Taupo, he's an IT geek! hee hee! actually i'm taking the mickey out of him but if it was left to me we wouldn't have got any points!!! i'm just a librarian so not alot of points for that!

we will be initially starting off in taupo then eventually we would love to move to either Howick or Tauranga - sooo beautiful when we visited earlier this year, we just fell in love (especially Tauranga) we really would like to end up doing something compeltely different so we may look into a career change once settled in NZ.

hoping to make the move in Feb 06 but we have handed our notices in at work now and will be leaving work at christmas! scary! then my little sis is having the first baby in our family in late december, so it will be lovely to spend lots of time with them before we leave! although, very hard to leave them! that's the scary thing i guess leaving loved ones.

if anyone has any good advice on movers/shippers, flight bookings or anything you think we should know, please get in touch...any advice gratefully received!
