Hello,
Does anyone knows, how looks the situation with jobs for architects/drafters in Wellington area??
I am an architect (although I don't have a license yet and cannot be called architect in NZ) with more than 2 years experience. I have MS in Architecture from Poland, but I worked for 0.5 a year in Spain and I have been working in US for 2 years (can't wait to run away from US). So I have some experience with getting used to local codes but I know that the most difficult it is to get first job - without prior local code knowledge.
I would like to know if it is possible to get a job in this profession for newcomers with really foreign name?
I don't have PR yet. We are submitting ITA next week (but not complete -still waiting for FBI reports and my husband NZQA report).
