Does anybody know which Intermediate School falls into the Burnside area of Christchurch? I thought it was Cobham but now I'm not so sure. Any help gratefully received as my head is spinning with info overload!!

If you visit the Burnside website it is possible to get a map of the catchment area. It may be possible from that to identify the intermediate schools in that area.

This is the zone for Cobham

Cobham Intermediate encompasses the Christchurch suburbs of Fendalton, Burnside, Bryndwr and Roydvale.

In the following, both sides of the road are included:

From Russley Road

East along Wairakei Rd to Greers Rd

NE along Greers Rd to Harewood Rd

SE along Harewood Rd to railway line

Railway line to Blighs Rd

SW along Blighs Rd to Idris Rd

S along Idris Rd to Wairakei Rd

SE along Wairakei Rd to the railway line

S along railway line to Fendalton Rd

W along Fendalton Rd to Straven Rd

SE along Straven Rd to Kahu Rd

NE along Kahu Rd to Kotare St

W along Kotare St to Creyke Rd

NW along Creyke Rd to Barlow St

N along Wilfrid St to Ilam rd

NW along Tuirau Pl to Chevron Pl

N along Chevron Pl to Greers Rd

NE along Greers Rd to Memorial Ave

W along Memorial Ave

S along Roydvale Ave

W along Avonhead Rd

N along Russley Rd to Wairakei Rd

Note – all of Memorial Ave is included

Although we are in the Burnside school zone, we won't need to worry about intermediate. Our primary school the children goes to end of intermediate so its straight to High school for our 2.(eventually - they are only 6 & 8!)

So maybe it would be easier to find a primary that goes to intermediate in the burnside zone rather than an intermediate! You might end up living in the right zone for cobham but not for burnside!

Thanks both for the brilliant info. Perhaps I'll be able to sort it all out in my head now!!
