In feb this year we stayed at a homestay where the owners OH worked at Marsden Point. He was in charge of the re-fit.

It really was a lovely area, with gorgeous beachs and nice houses with planning restrictions so that no tower blocks etc could be built, like a conservation area. They were lovely people and the homestay was absolutely lovely. If you ever get to Whangarei, go to the Killer Prawn for dinner. yum yum.

Just thought you might like to bear that in mind when the job offer thuds on the doormat. ;)

Good luck.

Google ESTA and ESTB requirements - unfortunately it does require some practical work irrespective of how highky quakified you are in the UK. Electricity here is very different - it's all upside down to start with.

Not Heard of that. I'm sitting a safety/cpr course at NZ house in London so i can send off for a provisional practising licence, then i think i have to attend a college course for the NZ regs to get full licence once i am working in NZ. Does that sound right?
