Has anyone stayed in accommodation in Kaikoura that they'd be happy to recommend for families?

Thanks
Moorf

We stayed at the top 10 holiday park in one of their lodges (2 bedroom, kitchen area, dining area and lounge area). I would definitely recommend there.

Moorf. If you are thinking of going for a swim with the local wildlife when you are there, consider a wetsuit in anything but black. You dont want to look like a seal splashing around when a little old GW passes by. :D

We stayed in the Wave appartment it was great a bit expensive but the inlaws were paying Ha Ha

Timbo.. they'd probably think I was a whale, not a seal, and leave me alone! :laugh
Tara - will check out Wave too - thanks!! However, if expensive probably not a good idea as 4 adults and 2 kids and with the whale watching excursion on top it'll be a costly trip!

Thanks for tips guys......

We stayed here, http://www.whitemorph.co.nz/

Right on the seafront.

It was lovely. We couldn't get over how you had an upstairs to your rooms, seemed very strange.
