Well it's blooming manic here.
Shippers come next week and Ian is the other side of the world.
I have a list of things to do as long as my arm and things are constantly being added to it.
The stress is about to kill me I am sure. The shipper were to arrange the cleaning of Ian's Motorbike but the steam cleaner can't come now, so I have to clean it myself or get someone else to do it but the shippers keep telling me "they'll steam clean it again anyway and charge you" Has anyone experienced this before.
The kids have already moved into grandma's, which is a good thing.
I can wash the quilts and bedding then. Although to everyone if you don;t have an expensive quilt especially if it;s a kids one don't get it clean buy a new one it's juts as cheap.
Well the shippers come on Wed, container goes Fri, we complete Friday then I can breathe out.

Jo
Don't forget to breathe, it's important.:laugh
Do you have a 'Karcher' pressure washer thing and an old tooth brush? We did our bikes all over twice with that and they came up sparkly new clean. MAF haven't inspected them yet :uhoh but there was not a trace of dirt, grease, mud or even a spiders web. It might be worth just trying that instead of paying for 2 steam cleans.
Hope that helps. The stress will soon be gone, in fact the minute you step on the plane your breathing will go back to normal.
Good luck, hold in there Girl.

We are concerned with your stress levels lass, but don't worry about Ian he is getting himself ready for the weekend bash,:cheers up at akitia with us former NW circle of trust members. He's all sorted with his sleeping bag and he's got the booze sorted so all in all you just take care your end and he'll take care this end, ok.
Oh by the way don't throttle me when you catch up with me at a later date.
Seriously, we are with you all the way Jo, am sure it will come good and those levels will drop with an increasing speed over the coming days. About your concern over the bike. As Deborah says, just Karcher the bike am sure it will fly through.
Kim.
Oh this was diny's reply to your dilemma, but didn't have the bottle to post it

Hey!
Great to hear everything is coming together for you, wont be long now before your all together again. Cool!
I know only to well what you mean about the stress, every thing needs doing and only you to do it, your mind is racing making sure everything is in ordered, signed and sorted before you depart, along with working full time, it's enough to make anyone mad.
The only advice i can give is keep going with your head down and it will all be over SOON!!! and i think so worth it, HONEST!!
You take good care of yourself and make sure you use your friends to help you through, it's certainley times like this you realise who your friends are and how much you need them.
Take care of yourself, give the kids our love and hopefully we will see you all soon.
Love

Hi Jo,
We shipped a BMW, did not have it steam cleaned, OH cleaned it himself, didn't even use the power washer, and we had no problem with the maf, they didn't even ask if it had been steam cleaned. Don't forget that the battery has to be disconnected, and the petrol tank has to be empty, but i am sure the movers will of told you all that. Good luck with your move, its a very stressfull time but it will be worth it in the end. We have been here just over a year now, and my oh rode his bike for the first time last saturday, (not been off it since though) :laugh Hope this helps, if you need any more info just give us a shout.

Wow Jo - it's really happening for you now :raebanana I know how hard it must be to organise all by yourself, but in a way this is a blessing in disguise too as Ian would never do 'it' the way you'd want things doing :o You know what I mean. I'm sure that all you're shipping over will be in perfectly clean condition, you're such an organised person.
Fancy Ian having a party though, with others from our old NW crew - I'm sure they'll be raising many glassed in support of you though :laugh
Anyway, good to read that the kids are at least taken care of for a while. Hang in there girl, give's a call if you fancy or else see you what looks like the 3rd of Dec.
Thinking of you :yes
Babette
PS - So Ian is about to turn into an old G*T too!!!
