I've decided that instead of letting all the stress of both the Immigration stuff and the wedding get to me I'd start a blog and pour all I feel out on there!

It's not very interesting at the minute, but I promise to update it as often as I remember...... :yes :o

If anyone's interested it's at my new snazzily titled page http://manymilesaway.com/b2evolution/blogs/index.php

Oh, and if anyone else would like a blog on my page, please let me know, and I'll set you one up :D I seem to have got quite a bit of bandwidth spare!

Well, now there's a question :)

According to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog) A Blog is:

a web-based publication of periodic articles (posts), usually presented in reverse chronological order. It is an online journal with one or many contributors

Basically, a journal or diary you can use to keep people informed about what you do - Sounds geeky (and is) but it's good so people can share experiences without feeling like you're spamming forums etc

Good for you, I've been trying to find the time to do this for ages. Look forward to following your journey.

Oh "BLOG" - i see, mmmm. :roll Why didn't you say?

So whats spamming then?

Only Only kidding, its nice to learn something new now and then (never heard of spamming but assume it means checking thru other sites or some such behavior, nothing to do with food :laugh and i suppose neither is hamming it up, being a cabbage, treated like mushrooms, a podcast etc)

Gotta go - men in white coats coming down the corridor... :exit

I've decided that instead of letting all the stress of both the Immigration stuff and the wedding get to me I'd start a blog and pour all the crap I feel out on there!

Questor, you and me both!! I set mine up at the beginning of the week. My idea was to write down all the trials and tribulations as they happen, so that, in six months time, we can hopefully sit down together, in NZ, and look back and laugh.

For anyone who hasn't done this, it's extremely therapeutic when you are stressed out, and it's far better than beating the kids!!

I've got three draft entries at the moment, which should be loaded up tonight. For those that are interested, they'll be here after 8pm

If anyone else fancies doing it, it's dead easy. Set up a free blog here

The blogger.com site is by far the easiest and best blog site I've ever used. And free. I've kept a blog for over a year now (since we arrived) and it's been a great source of info for friends and family around the world. Definitely worth the effort. (our blog address is in my signature ;) )

So chuffed to know what a blog is. I got an email yesterday titled "New Zealand - blog it?" and they asked me to put a diary journal thing on our old judo club website about what judo is like in NZ. John and i sat looking at each other saying "blog?" and "eh?". Didn't make the connection - we thought the chap had mis-spelt "blag it". I feel enlightened.

But then i didn't know what a chav was until a month or two ago, much to the amusement of my work colleaugues - and i used to work in a town that was voted on the internet no. 1 chav town in England!
