Hi
Sorry if this question has been asked before or in different ways.
In the UK there are 2 distinct parts of the year that you try to avoid being unemployed in due to the lack of job opportunuties coming onto the market - these are:
1. December/Janurary. Christmas & New Year holidays.
2. July/August. Summer holidays and school holidays.
So question is:
When are the quiet periods in NZ recruitment???
Is it just Christmas or is there another time when hiring managers are all on holiday or companies are at the end of a financial year and therefore do not have budgets for recruitment???
Any help appreciated.
Cheers Matt
sorry - forgot to mention I am in IT if that makes a difference.
