I assume that only those working in jobs where NZ registration is needed (e.g nurses, electricians) would need NZQA assessment of their qualifications before submitting ITA for PR.
Do bog standard degrees etc need to go through NZQA first? (I've heard it costs loads of money and takes loads of time!!!)
Thanks,

I THINK as long as the place you got your degree from is on the list that's on the website, then it doesn't need NZQA assessment - AFAIK as long as you send your certificate with your ITA then you'll be fine

They didn't require us to undergo NZQA. We both have BS degrees in Geology, and the OH has professional registrations that may have no NZ counterpart.
