Well, after a great deal of medical intervention, my partner and I are pregnant. We had our viability ultrasound today and have one little kiwi with a very fast heartbeat. We are only 8 1/2 weeks pregnant and I will start with an OB here but I will need one in NZ.

We are coming over Feb.1 and will be living in North Auckland. I will stay for 4-6 weeks then come back to tidy up a few business matters here before coming back for good.

I would be most grateful if anyone has an recommendations for a good OB in the North Auckland area.

Thanks.

It's more central than north, but we used Auckland Obestrics Centre for our baby this week. The service was wonderful

It's only 20 mins from the shore.

Thanks! I will check them out. My partner also corrected me....we will be living on the North SHORE not North Auckland.

I have just been reading good reports of Shore Birth (on an NZ pregnancy forum), which would be a lot nearer and sound a bit like AOC that we used.

I think it was the following guys who had such a neat slogan. I saw their ad on a spare-tyre cover on the back of a vehicle this spring in Auckland. We haven't had experience of them personally, but their link is http://www.yellow.co.nz/site/maternitymatters/

and that slogan is...

"We help people out!"

Love it.
