Well done Questor. Now the waiting game.................
Depends on workload on how long u have to wait. Use the time wisely, start getting all of you paperwork together, birth certificates, qualifications, passports etc.
Start looking at where u will be doing your medical (from Halifax, Dr. Millions in Manchester is quite reasonable and I believe there is one in Sheffield) and get your police certificates sorted. Remeber the time limits on some of these things. You hae 4 months to get your paperwork together and in once you receive your ITA, so bear that in mind.
Good luck

Hey, great news Questor!
I really enjoyed pulling all that stuff together (strangely!) and our family trip to Manchester to see Dr Million was quite a highlight.
Good luck with it, and remember, if you've a question, someome here will probably know the answer....

We requested our Police stuff a couple of weeks ago - we figured we might as well get started - We'll book the medicals this week probably - it's all happening!

Nice one :nice1
Re-medicals, if you have tattoos or body piercings you will need an extra blood test- our surgery forgot to write that on the blood paperwork (even though they told us over the phone) and now we have to go back again!
Just another thing to be aware of
Good luck chaps :cheers

Oh yes, re-piercings, you have only had them done recently (if you have them). He asked my wife and she rightly told him she had them for years. Big error, coz we got stung for another blood test. Apparently is to do with the lack of hygiene standards all those years ago, so if asked, you only had them done last year!!! Save you £20.
Can't help you with tatoos, same thing I suppose, only had them done for a few years story etc..
Gil, if that was a highlight, I pity your existence!! lol
But he did save you a few bob though ol' Dr. Milliions, didn't he?!

Congratulations! Try to be organised and think of ALL the things you may need. It was only when I got the paperwork from them I found out that converting my teaching qualification was not enough and I had to register with their teaching council as well! :D We are all ready to send everything else off and I'm still waiting for my registration!

I'm a pharmacist, and I can't register out there without living out there - so I'm just emailing NZIS to ask them what I need to submit in terms of "being on the way to" registration!
Oh, and the ITA came this morning :D

You should get a decision soon - The London branch website says it's usually up to a month from EOI selected to a decision being made

Booked our Medicals with Dr Million today - Tuesday 24th January. Hopefully by then we should have everything else pretty much sorted, and be ready to send in the ITA when we get those back :)
