The lady was called "Catherine" and she was very friendly. It was just like have a chat with somebody who wanted to know what all our plans and more...Very informal and I didn't feel nervous at all.

We have had our house on the market since Aug this year. Had over 22 viewings, sold once and rejected two other offers?

We have a viewing on the 16/12/05 @ 7.30pm, can you believe that? I have my Christmas tree up and everything, but if it sells ,we will be very happy.This couple are in a position of a cash purchase, if they want our house...fingers crossed. Another great Christmas pressie would be nice.

We still haven't heard if we have PR or a working visa and it has now been 10 days since our interview? Our agent said, it can take up to two weeks??

How long does it really take, as I would love to know? :roll

We have our viewing on the house tomorrow and I really hope they make an offer....we can hope.

We waited a week and were almost dying with the not knowing. After a week, we sent them an email saying something like we were going away, so if she was wanting to contact us then to ring on Craig's mobile. Sure enough, within a couple of hours, Craig got a phone call to say we had PR (I was also due to have a baby any day at the time, so she knew we needed to know soon). Go on, give them a call - it can't harm.

I called the agent and somebody else is working on our case now, just our luck? She said she e-mailed them yesterday and it is being worked on at the moment and will be back to us very soon. Hopefully not to long of a wait now?

Julie, Daz would never call them, he doesn't even know what a phone is...ha ha ha....as you know he hates phones.

As soon as I hear, I will be straight back with an update.

Not wanting to hi-jack the thread, but thought this may make you (and others) smile.

As you know, Steve and Daz were made from the same mould as far as phones are concerned.

Well, few days ago, Steve took quite an important phone call and was speaking for about 20 mins. When he finished I asked "Well, what did she have to say?"
"Havent a clue" he replied !!!

:uhoh And this is the principle applicant that will be taking the phone interview....... :roll :roll

An update, our viewer turned up tonight, a cash buyer. Loved the house and said it is just what she is looking for. Asked for my telephone number and said that she would like to come back with partner over Christmas. She also said she isn't going to view any more houses!Looking good and no chain.. :nice1

Thanks for asking about our viewing. It went really well and they are putting an offer forward in tomorrow.

They are a cash buyer and the chap is disabled, so he needs to make sure a stair lift won't be an issue, only if we agree on a price? I am confident it won't be a problem. :roll

If we agree a price, we are hoping to move to New Zealand in Feb 06.
