After many, many fruitless weeks of searching for a job, I have finally gotten one! And its in Wellington which is brilliant. To be honest, I thought that I would prefer Chch for relocating. Although I thought it was a fantastic place, for some reason I fell in love with Wellington so I am very happy at how things have worked out.

I just had to let people know because, even though I don't post much, I am very grateful and very dependent on this forum for info and encouragement. Having gone through the should-I-give-up-and-go-home blues myself, I thought it might keep someone else from giving up to hear it. Personally, I have to give Smiler (Deborah) much credit for not letting me give up. She is a wonder.

Now I can find a home and start moving foward since I know where I'll be living! Talk about a Christmas present!

Thanks to everyone for their congrats and good wishes. Every once in a while it hits me that my husband and I decided to move here for some very idealistic reasons that we might actually be able to realize. This group definitely keeps that idea alive.
