Well, here's some totally unecessary info, but just wanted to share what we are doing right now with our project in moving to NZ

After finally getting PR, we thought that it's about time to begin selling our house.
We decided to try selling it without any agencies and our local bank manager promised to handle all necessary paperworks with only 350 EUR (about 250£) when agency commission would be at lest 3,5% of selling price.

It seems that selling the house won't be a problem. Just after 2 hours of calling to bank manager, I got first call from some lady who was interested to buy our house. Quite nice if you keep in mind that we haven't put any ads in newspaper etc. :nice1
I quess that bank manager had some potential buyers in queue. There is also plenty of people who are looking for a house from the countryside within reasonable distance from the city.

It's also nice to see that markets are very favourable for selling property right now. We bought our house only 3 years ago and it's value has gone up almost 20%. Unfortunately property values in NZ seems to be high at the moment, considering that also mortage rates are up at the same time. Our mortage rate has been under 3% for last 2 years, so rate of 7-9% is shocking

Hopefully we have a buyer before end of January, so that we can stick with our original plan to get in NZ in February-March.
