Hi
We are moving to NZ around Easter 2006.
We only expect to freight a few 100kg with us as we are not intending to bring our furniture etc.
So probably things above what we will be able to bring on the flights such as some of the following:-
Clothes
Bedding and Towels
Some Pictures & Photo Frames
Some sports equipment
Some DIY Equipment & tools
Some other bits and pieces like chess sets and games
Maybe one or 2 bicycles?? (but maybe not).
We are thinking of using Seven Seas who charge approx
Tea Cartons up to 40kg (61cm x 51cm x 41cm)
1st on e is £79 to £89 and then next subsequent ones at £40 to £45.
Door to Door including Cartons and packing materials.
They say only other charge is £20 whatever the amount of cartons for MAF.
They say 8 weeks by sea but when I spoke to informative lady on telephone at 7Seas she suggested best to think of 10 weeks.
Does anyone think this is a good deal or can you suggest any better?
Also has anyone had any experience with Seven Seas?
Thank you
Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year
