Please read the attached story - this is my step-brother who had just started up in business for himself (which is something he had always dreamed of doing).
Maybe if someone had helped they could've been hurt too - but no one will know now!

So sorry to read of this terrible attack on your step brother and on his dream of working for himself. I wish him a speedy recovery physically but know that being the victim of crime it is often the mental scares that take longest to heal.
Best wishes Debbie

I would just like to send my wishes to your step brother for a speedy recovery. Was shocked to read that it was a relation to you, as i was reading about this in the NZ Herald yesterday. It does make you wonder that crime like that can hit a small place like Hastings:no

Wish your step-brother the very best and a speedy recovery. It must have been really traumatizing.

OMG!! Sorry to hear that, please pass on our wishes and to you as well! You mustn't be feeling too good about it either.
It is disgusting what people do to each other. I cannot understand the level of violence that people are prepared to do to another human being for gain. We as a race certainly have an awful lot to learn. Unfortunately, NZ is inhabited by idiots as much as any other place on this planet. Our prayers go with you.

This is nasty, I'd also read about it in the paper.
I hope your SB heals physically and mentally and hope he somehow finds the courage to go back to living his dream.
