We (the OH) gave it lots of thought and so as not to bore others I have written lots on our bad experience with our car, just do a search on my threads.;)

Before I rant on, what sort of car do you have? Is it worth shipping? Look for 2nd hand prices in NZ and on Trademe to get some idea.

By all means pm me if you want more ravings on why not to bring your car. :D

Well that pretty much answers it really, we pretty much dismissed the idea at the beginning anyway I guess.
Will look to buy when we get there, apparently they are reasonably priced anyway!!!!!
