Hi all,

Will my BT phone work in NZ ? The reason I ask is that's it's a Skype dualphone with a BT connector and BT tones etc.

I think the connector is the same.. but is the workings of the system the same ?

Our DECT cordless ones work. The transformer plugged into a UK leccy exten with a NZ plug on the end and the phone socket plugy thing goes straight in.

It just rings differently, but we have 2 lines to the house with a diff ring tone each.

They are BT ones and really work exactly as they did in the UK, Diverse Twin X5 and we have another model (can't remember which) that we tested too.

We keep a normal corded phone plugged in just incase of power cuts etc but suffered from cuts in the UK weekly so that is habit.

I've seen the dualphone for sale here I'm sure.

Does anyone know if a UK fax nachine will work in NZ also? I've got a virtually brand new one and would prefer to use it if I can.
