I posted earlier how I noticed they'd taken payment for my application, I got home to a letter acknowledging my application and letting me know that they hope to make a final decision in the next 6-8 weeks - what a day! My heart's pounding. I don't think I can handle all this emotion.

They also included a file with a cd, it's called Living in New Zealand,

Wow - you're right - they are being efficient! Good luck. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long. I'm sure for you that it's just a formality. All exciting stuff!

I know, they only received my application on Friday! The acknowledgement letter was supposed to take up to 3 weeks and it took 3 days!

I hope the rest of it goes so quickly, I'm on pins.

My OH got his PR by partnership route visa within 3 weeks of submitting the application. I think, so long as it is straight forward and you can prove your partnership easily, it all goes thru fairly quickly.

That's good to know Debs, I'm keeping an eye on the post box for the extra blood tests results, once I have those submitted, I'm hoping it'll be quick.
