We are applying under the family category , whats really annoying is that I lived in NZ from 1973 - 1991 but never got citizen ship & in the bad old days PR ran out if yoou went out of the country - which i did & married DH , wow what an expensive mistake its turning out to be :wah not marriage lol

I've been mostly lurking but really needed to share this lol

see !! when you are 18 you are a smart a**e know all ;)

i guess i didd'nt plan on falling madly in love with a man from Bolton he he :laugh :laugh

I'm hoping our application will just be a case of " rubber stamping ", all the relevant paperwork should be ok - i'm going to enclose my school cert , HSE & UE certificates & send them a copy of my IRD number . Both DH & i have job offers too ,

I'm dreading medicals though - been dieting for 2 months in anticipation ...

I've sadly had a few trips back in recent years - due to my fathers ill health & subsequent death .

August/ sept 2004 5 weeks & march / april 2005 7 weeks - I travelled alone so my heat goes out to those who are seperated from their partners & family . I was pretty blown away by the dramatic changes - but as i'm neither a shopaholic or coffee house poser I geuss they won't really effect me too much - i'm more of a warehouse kinda girl :laugh ........ I guess i just want off the rat race , keeping up with the jones , society that the Uk has become . Ultimately we are looking to move to the wops - away from as many people as possible & grow our own veg & have chooks , but in the short term we'll be living with mum - who needs lots of care as she is quite poorly herself .

Hi Vic and Paul.

Do you fancy coming along to the North West meet in February?

We usually arrive at about 1 o'clock and have some lunch and a good natter.

Keep an eye on the posts relating to this, but as of now, it is to be held on Saturday 18th February at Mascrat Manor, near Warrington. Dead easy to find - Junc 21 M6.

Be good if you could make it - no pressure if you can't.

Julie
