Hello

I am moving from California this September. I would like to mail soon my boxes of clothes/books/kitchen stuff, etc. Is there a storage facility that can securely hold my things for 3-5 months?

Also does anyone know a reliable moving company in the US. i.e. in California?

If you contact them directly, some storage facilities will do this for you. A few rounds of faxes have to be circulated, but it's doable. I'm just having friends hold mine till I'm settled.

I have 6 (40 cm by 40 cm by 40 cm) boxes filled with clothes/books/a few CDs. Will the NZ Post Office hold my boxes till I get there? Do I have to pay duties as an incoming resident? Are there forms I can download and fill up?

If there is a thread already regarding the above, I would appreciate a link?
