I often have a look on here as a rough guide to prices in NZ - Gives a wide variety of products also . :nice1 nice to be able to get a "rough" idea of what things really cost .

The warewhare is good for lots of kitchen basics, and anything plastic, but I would be wary of using it as an estimate of what stuff generally costs in NZ - if you want anything that lasts more than 6 months! We bought a fridge from there when we arrived becuase we were on a tight budget, and at about $300 (I think) it seemed a bargain... it still works but it really is the cheapest of cheap c**p - it has no salad drawer, no light and is so weak / poorly powered that the freezer compartment has never succeeded in making a single ice cube! We now use it as a beer / wine fridge and it lives in the garage... If you have a good fridge freezer - bring it with you!
So yes the Warehouse is good for basics, and for outdoor stuff (though recently Mitre 10 have pretty much matched them for that on price), but I wouldn't plan to furnish a house / fill a wardrobe from there... though somehow I still spend plenty of $$$'s there every couple of weeks!
