We have been attempting the online EOI and need a couple of things clearing up.

Points for intending to locate outside of Auckland, how are these points taken up without a job offer?

Also the family members section, does this cover purely immediate blood relations or include brother/sisters in law and nieces/nephews?

If I remember rightly you can only claim points if you have a job offer or are currently in a job (in NZ ofcourse) which is outside of Auckland.

Basically, if you are applying without a joboffer and are not already employed in NZ you are unable to claim points for this section. Does this help?

Also, with regards to family members - we didn't add any nieces/nephews/aunties/uncles etc But would have done this if they were NZ residents. Just included immediate family like parents, brothers, sisters etc (including adopted and/or stepfamily)
