Actually I sent it FedEx and not a moment too soon.

Finally got the evidence of employment letter from Greg's last employer but had to wait for the doctor to return from overseas to sign the correct line on our medical forms. He just came back this morning so I bundled up the twins, put them in the stroller and walked the 2.5 miles from our place to his office in the freezing cold. No open strollers on the bus and not commutable by train so we had no choice but to hoof it.

From there we took the train down to my office to type out a cover letter (no printer at home) but realized I forget Greg's current employment contract so I had no choice but to head back home. Pulled out the letter and sent it out from the local FedEx this evening. Our CO will have it on his desk this Friday.

Let's hope this is all they need.

Oh, well done Emily.

We knew you could do it. Did you type out the letter yourself as we suggested? Not that it matters........its in the mail - another job done.

Emily,
You've brought to mind a saying from years ago "If the dream's big enough, the facts don't count". First time I heard it, I wasn't too sure what it meant, but what you did there really sums it up.
Well done, most people would have been put off at the first hurdle, but not you!! And all that wonderful exercise you got as well!
You're on the way now, good luck and keep us posted,
Gil

Hi Emily,
We're practically neighbours. I'm in Princeton, NJ. Congrats on getting everything together. Our last document arrived in London on Monday. We called our case officer on Tuesday, but he said it takes a few days for things to actually reach his desk. We'll call again on Friday as we are eager to book some tickets!!!
It's such an exciting time. As much as I'm eager to be leaving NJ, I also want to take the last few weeks to do all of the things I've been meaning to do for the past 4 years. This weekend I'm planning a trip to the Bronx Zoo. Hope it warms up a little.
Congrats again and do keep us posted.
Susan
