new to this site so hi everybody:) soon be winging my way to blenheim to start my new job, however im having a bit of a mare with my freight! personal items are very few but as a mechanic my workshop tools are heavy and im having trouble finding a company to ship them in one crate. probably no more than 4cwt and in a crate about 5ft x 3ft x 3ft. anybody have any ideas. by the way im in cornwall so no firm past bristol seem interested! anyone living in blenheim, ive read a few threads, just wondered, thanks in anticipation:)

have you tried contacting any marine/shipping agents? they may know of some companys ie that ship containers that may be able to ship out your tools - if you make your own crates and pack them in movable sizes? being in cornwall you should have a few around ie Falmouth docks etc

the tools have to be thoroughly cleaned as well, any oil/grease has to be sorted out.
Do a search on shipping agents local to you they may be able to help you. Know Falmouth quite well, so you should at least have a local place of departure, even if it has to go to another port on way...

Good luck

Steve
