Hi guys,

Hubby and I are considering going to this, just wondering if anyone else was going and fancied meeting up, grab a coffee or something.

I'm not sure really, from what I gather, lots of prospective employers trying to recruit.

I'm tee-total! Mind you, don't like coffee either, I'll have a spearmint milkshake!

My partner and I went to the London expo last year. It was great fun and a good experience ;) If I remember well there are quite a bit of NZ companies represented there, mostly in engineering, health, IT ect. Even the city councils were there, from Auckland, Welly, Hawkes Bay, Christchurch. There were also removal companies, estate agents, banks, finance companies as well.

The ony problem I found (and others did too after chatting with other prospective migrants) was a lot of companies are more interested in getting you registered and collect your CV only. But I think the Welly city council was actually doing some on the spot interviews. I registered with an agency at the expo and on my arrival in NZ, was contacted to set up an interview, so it was quite efficient in a way.

Although I thought it would be a bit bigger, I really liked it, it was a good day out and the people were very friendly..and there were a lot of kiwi goodies to sample :laugh (good for a chocolate addict like myself ;) )
