Oh wow, what roller-coaster few weeks, I can't actually believe that once I pay my migrant levy, I will have my VISA!

My lovely case officer (Michael Slade) rang this morning to tell me he's received my blood test results and that it all looked ok and we've been awarded approval in principle. All we have to do now is pay a migrant levy of £120 per person on the application wihich is £360 for us and they will release our VISAs. I just emailed Michael authorisation to take the money from my debit card, so we could have our VISAs next week!

Oh wow, oh JOY!!!! :nice1

Oh I'll definitely be giving you a yell, MIL will be in the UK for a few weeks when we arrive, so it'll be safe for me to go to Featherston! lol :laugh

I feel so great today. I think I was starting to think up reasons why we couldn't go in case my blood tests results were bad, gone from one extreme to the other now!

Just come back from a lovely meal out with the kids, celebrations over, back to the real world, gotta clear out the garage now :( :clap :clap

Thanks guys! Tara, that's really good to hear, there's been a few doom and gloom stories lately :(

We have more good news! Hubby almost has a job!!! Its in Palmerston North and we planned on settling in Masterton, but it's not that big a deal. He spoke to the director tonight and they offered him the job, we're just discussing all our options and we're going to get back to him tomorrow.

What a day!

Well Done Dawn and family, I feel so very pleased for you all :clap :clap .

You must all be very excited and to have confirmation and a job offer all in one go is just brilliant.

I have been watching your progress with interest as my husband had planned to submit his application on the same day as you but had to re-sit his medical. As it stands he just got his medical back yesterday and we are all set for logging it on Monday.

Enjoy the de-cluttering and keep posting as you are giving me faith that good things can happen :yes .
