Well, we exchanged contracts this morning and we complete on 17 February. Can't believe that's it - we really are going now!!

We've got the packers here on 15 and 16 February, then we're staying in a holiday-let a mile down the road from here until 26 Feb, when we're staying in a hotel at Manchester Airport in readiness for our flight to Singapore on 27 Feb. We've got 6 nights in Singapore then we arrive in Christchurch on 6 March. This is all a bit mad - it really is real. By the looks of it, there are a few of us on ENZ flying out within days of each other (Wendy and Dazza are behind us by one day on the same flights!).

What's worrying me is that I seem to be incredibly calm - I just can't get panicked about anything at the moment. I'm sure it will come!!

Good luck to everyone playing the waiting game out there! Your time will come.

Congratulations to you - it hardly seems two minutes since the NW crew were sitting in Tatton Park wishing Diny well and now most of us are there or on the way.......

Good luck with the packing and enjoy the next few weeks

Lisa, Max and Alex (and Al who's already enjoying NZ life)

It's funny - I was just thinking the same about Tatton Park. I was over 7 months pregnant at the time and now I've got a 5 month old baby boy - how time flies (and much colder it is now than it was that day!!). When will you be joining hubby?

Hi Kate - I've only just twigged you were the pregnant lady at Tatton Park!! How slow am I - we were the family with the black dog - don't know if you remember us.

Well we complete on our house on the 17th and fly out on 24th from Manchester - what a coincidence?!!! We're just looking for somewhere to lay our heads while we're homeless for a week - weird feeling isn't it?

Hope you enjoy your time in Singapore - we've only got a few hours stopover so don't know how much we'll get to see.

Very best wishes for your new lives - keep in touch through the forum and let us know how you're getting on and we'll do the same.

Hi Alison

Yes, I was that pregnant lady!!! I don't think I remember the dog - what do you look like - did you have kids with you?? (so many questions..) I am normally quite a sociable person, but I was so heavily pregnant and it was so hot that day, that all I could really do was sit down, so I missed quite a few people.

Good luck to you too and look forward to reading your updates! It's quite scary - the shippers have just phoned and we said 'see you next Wednesday' - that really is soon!!
