I did the medical yeasterday and I was really stressed out. So much going on and the move to NZ has turned me into a bit of a Zombie.

Estate Agents, selling cars, tax, start dates, movers etc.,

I was really scared of the medical, but the Doctor was great.

My blood pressure was sky-high and I failed the first reading, but after going round the loop - x-ray, bloods, urine etc I managed to calm down, a bit of medititation and it was back to a normal reading (the lowest ever - I am a white coat hypertensive).

Just waiting for the results now.

The x-ray was ok and I am not worried about the rest - I know my bloods are OK.

Looking forward to getting to NZ and leading a more healthy outdoor life.

At 48 it is not too late to turn things around.

Good on ya Rabbit! So good to have that hurdle done. Where are you heading? When will you be on your way?

Well done Rabbit! I know there's tons to think about but for us the medicals were the first real feeling of it happening/moving along. (Probably something to do with shelling out £££££££s!)
Let us know how it goes,
Gil

It's not nice is it. You get to thinking you'll fail before you've even reached the first hurdle, the meds scared me the most.

Well done for getting through it, just think, the rest will now be a breeeze. ;)
