Just read status of online application and we have moved on one more step in the right direction. :D

We were pulled from pool on 21.07.04, how does this tie in with anybody else who was picked from the pool on that date?

Got a call from NZIS, on 23.8.04 and were told that the invitation to apply would be approved soon, but even if we were able to get medicals etc back to them by end September (already had police checks done) we would be looking at about Jan/Feb.

We were hoping to be there early Jan, any advice to help things move along.

That is shocking news Jam, did they say why it would take so long?
We have been told that 3-4 months from eoi selection is normal.

Well thats a bummer indeed. Imagine.

EOI from selection - 6-8 weeks wait.
Approval from Invitation - 3-4 mos wait.

So we are looking at a 6 mos. waiting game. Not bad I might say considering the numbers I have been hearing from other countries.

Anyways, its good timescale I might say for you to prepare and not leave naything hangin before you finally move!

We were selected on 7th July 2004
Received decision successful on 22nd August 2004
Received Application to Apply on 25th August 2004
Sent back Application on 26th August 2004 (Had all evidence ready)
NZIS London received it 27th August 2004
They said it would take between 1 - 3 months to check

Just wondering, is the "normal" timescale between EOI "Selected" and decision "Successful" around 2 weeks, 10 working days?
So if you, like us, were selected on May 25, you'll be getting that email on let's say this wednesday? :eek
