Hi all,

Please can anyone advise approximately how long the Subject Access Checks are taking to come through. Also any suggestions on how to get the results quicker would be much appreciated.

I'm curious about this myself. Legally they must respond within 40 days...unsure if thats 40 working days though.

Took us about 4 weeks as I remember, not sure you can speed them up though. Good luck.......David

Mine took about 4 weeks too, I went with Leicestershire Police, they were really good. You can go to a main police station and submit your request, maybe you can ask them if they can do it faster.

It's definitely 40 days, not 40 working days. We got ours through in about 4 weeks as well.
