After receiving the Invitation To Apply letter from the NZIS, I am somewhat puzzled by a couple of ‘extra conditions’ that seem to have been added over and above the original conditions that were previously stated in the EOI.
Firstly, I have been asked to send them a copy of my ‘signed contract of employment’, when all along they only wanted to know that I had an ‘offer of employment’ (which I have in writing). Could anyone clarify if this is the norm? As I could see it possibly being a problem!

There are a few other issues as well, however, this is my main concern.

Regard to all.

….Just a thought… if I have a job offer (in writing… and signed) is that not a Signed Contract?

umm i guess, they dont consider it (written offer of employment) as a signed contract or else they wouldnt have asked for your "signed contract of employment" - maybe they are just being cautious or something... :?

yes, you did read it correctly...
however in the EOI Guide it says there in page 9:

Other documentation as specified by the NZIS in your Invitation To Apply.
