Hi,

Does anyone know how long NZQS take to turn around the qualification certification once they receive all your diplomas/certificates? Is it worth paying the extra for a courier and quick turnaround? :?

You're ahead in the game on us I'm afraid. Maybe forum members Lindajax or Anita can shed some light on this - seem to remember a conversation taking place at last Saturday's NorthWest meet about people getting their qualifications accredited?

Maybe worth sending PM's to them.

I would say its definitely worth going for the fast-track service "for a few dollars more". I did this, and it took them four days from receipt to e-mail me confirmation that everything was OK, and this included time for an e-mail verification from one of my universities (make sure you include e-mail addresses...they will use them instead of post).
The fast-track guarantees a response within 10 working days...but if they require more information, they just issue a "holding letter" until they get it. The standard service is up to 6 weeks from receipt of sufficient evidence.

Likewise, with the courier service...I found it very efficient and got back all of my originals without any problems at all.
Any delay is usually caused by problems/omissions with the documentary evidence, rather than the decision making itself; they are real sticklers for getting EVERYTHING certified correctly, so follow their instructions to the letter or else!

Gosh that is quick 4 days! We will pay the extra to use the fast service.

I'll also take note re. following their instructions to the letter - just obtaining confirmations from previous employers at the moment so should be able to send off certificates next week :P
