I was just wondering how long it takes the NZIS to change the status of applications on their web site, and what the various status are.

We have been at the Application Received point since 24 Nov 04 !! despite getting Approval in Principle a long while ago, and are now waiting on those elusive blue stickers ...

Hi i know what you mean it took them ages with me but it changed on the website before i got the official letter. I was checking everyday it was really getting on my nerves and then one day in the column on the right hand side i noticed a slight variation in the wording . When i clicked on find out more IT WAS THERE IN WRITING!!! residence granted And expiry date etc, and it didnt change again until i went to NZ but even though it now says status resident at the top it still says decision pending further down i dont think they update them very often. Hi,
I got my nice little blue stickers in my passport at the end of October 2005. My status hasn't changed from 'Application Received' since I submitted my ITA back in June ( I think ) . Don't know if it will change when we finally get over there later this year, but to be honest, I'm not that fussed. :D

This may be a stupid question, but what website? We called London last week and they said they were going to sign off on on residency application that day and we should get our passports back in about 10 days. I would love to make sure that the "sign off" actually happened before we book our tickets.

In the top right there is a login link. Or register if you dont already have a login name. I dont know how this will work unless you completed your EOI online.

Anyway once in just click the "whats happening" link at the top of the page

The official NZIS site . if you applied on line you will have used it . If you just put NZIS in your search engine it will come up but its www.immigration.govt.nz.I am registered on there put my password in and can check my details every day.Fortunately i have permanent residence now so dont look on there as much

It never changes now, "Application Recieved", is the final status you get
