Hello Everyone
So sorry I have not posted for ages had a really hard time with the housing market and all the other stress that go with it, I have popped in from time to time to see how everyone is and see that lots off things have been happening and lots of people are on the way, I have been really scared of posting anything because I have felt so depressed with everything and so frightened that the DREAM was slipping away did not want to jinx anyone or anything and as the saying goes no news is good news.
And after the house being on the market for nearly 2 years and buyer after buyer dropping out because they have lost buyers ect, We finally EXCHANGED today and I want to shout from the roof tops, We complete on the 4th April and our Visa runs out on the 9th April so it is really tight and we will at last now be able to start the journey, And hopefully hubbys hair will come back and I can start to put weight back on because I have never in my life been this stressed,
So any one out there thinking about putting the house on the market before applying for you Visa do it, I thought the house would be the easy part god I am so glad it has gone. wish I had done the house bit 1st.
I hope you will all forgive me for being away for so long, SORRY hope you will all understand.
Now the FUN Starts YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

This emigrating lark IS sooo stressful...don't think I would have believed anyone if they had told me at the start ;) It makes us who we are though I suppose :) & certainly made us more determined to get there!
Fingers crossed for the 4th/9th April.

Well done you !! All the times we've spoken on the phone you've sounded more and more depressed. Now it's your turn.
What is it they say about 'if at first you don't succeed' ?
Have sent you a PM and will see you when you arrive.

I thought we'd had it bad but you've gone and taken the biscuit!!!!
Seriously though, well done for not going completely insane - what you've been through is enough to curdle anyone's dreams!
Hope everything goes smoothly for you from now on - surely you've paid your dues and should be entitled to some easy living in the future.
Very best wishes and hope life in New Zealand is everything you dreamed it would be.

Wow, Well done on staying sane, You are a prime example of why we sold up before - we took the gamble they'd accept us, as we were where you are now 15 yrs ago and our visas ran out for AUS!
So I am So GLAD you have exchanged - they can't back out now??
everyone will understand your lack of posting, and hope everything goes smoothly from now on!
{{Hugs}} and :cheers

Brilliant news Pamela, well done to you for hanging in there. I too am guilty of not posting as often as I should, but mainly due to lack of computer access here in Whitianga. I promise to update as soon as we have significant news to tell.
I really hope all goes smoothly from here on in. Hami is not too far out for us, so maybe we could hook up once you get settled.
If anyone else happens to be in the whitianga\coromandel area, feel free to ring me on; 021 0227 6825.
