Finally, I can stop worrying and start the proper planning :D :D

4 weeks and 5 days from submission to receiving the VISAs is that some kind of record, I dread to think how quick it would have been if I hadn't had the little hiccough with my blood tests.

Hubby is very happy, he keeps walking round muttering "I'm going home, I'm really going home, can you believe I'm going home!"

And he said it again to me, "this is the beginning of our new life"! My husband has absolutely no idea of the hoops I've had to jump through to get us this far, I'm going to need a 6 months holiday to recover from the stress of just getting there!

Chris is off to Florida next week for a month, to complete his pilots training, it's part of his resettlement from the Navy and it was a condition of him getting the job in NZ, I shall be staying in the UK and starting to get rid of all our posessions!

Hope everyone is well.

CONGRATULATIONS to you and your family, Dawn!! :clap
The waiting and wondering is the hardest part, and having the visas finally lets you get focused on one direction! Moving`s a hassle, of course, but it`ll all be worth it in the end. It`s time to GO FOR IT!! :exit

Oh Kate, it was only last week!!

I hope it goes quickly, we've been separated before, the longest was 6 months (damn Navy! lol) So a month should be a drop in the ocean (excuse the pun!).

I'm just annoyed he gets to avoid all the cleaning out.

Sure is a relief when you actually get your hands on them isn't it?

Glad for you that everything is working out.

That month will fly by - you'll be so busy de-cluttering and sorting you won't have time to miss hubby (well that's what you'll have to tell yourself eh?)

See you on the other side.
