I've seen some interesting posts on NZ's hotdogs and burgers. How about Asian food and condiments? Are these readily available in groceries or is there a specific area where you can buy them?
In Copenhagen, groceries don't normal carry these but there's an area called Asian market which carries the most common stuff you may need for Asian cooking.
We're not picky eaters but I don't think we're ready to do away with our native dishes just yet.

Oh there must be an asian grocery stores in every country. :D
I saw many of them in Auckland and saw only one in Wellington (but didn't look around though, I am sure there are more)

Come to Auckland, put on a blindfold, and walk in any direction... you`ll find yourself in one.

Before I found my job in Welly I was looking for a job in Auckland and ate various types of Asian food almost every night for a week. By the time I left Auckland I was ready for the burgers and hot dogs.
Seems to be a nice selection of asian food here in Welly as well.

Heaps of places here. The biggest I have found to date is on the Northshore at the Northcote shopping Center.
