Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if my router will work in NZ. We're fully wireless here and I'd like it to stay that way, just wondering if it's worth taking it with me.
TIA

According to hubby - yes! Though you do have to change the plug :nice1
Also - he says when you sign up for Broadband here in NZ - you will get a "free" wired router anyway (the wireless cost extra - no surprise there then), and he says its worth getting that even though you have a wireless one already.
If I remember rightly - you are going to masterton? Broadband shouldnt be an issue - but if you do end up in the boonies and have no access - we recommend www.wisenet.co.nz as a fantastic company to get you all set up.
:cheers

Ours works perfectly. We also got a free one when we signed up for the phone line but the BB was connected before the router came, so OH used ours.

My Linksys is working great! I brought it over from The States and it seems to be working as it always did. I was amazed how quickly Telecom was able to install my DSL. DSL is a bit slower here than back home but I don't really need all that speed anyways.
The wireless router inclued a Vonage Voice Over IP connection as well. It was great to plug in my router to my DSL and instantly have a US phone number once again as well as my wireless access to the net. I did have to buy a step down power converter for my phone and router but after that small investment everything was super!
