Thank you all!!! it's great to be here. My story is that I am from Romania, still here :( and wanna migrate to NZ. Already submitted EOI, and first points are 110. We were sooooo dissapointed, we submitted eoi on Dec 30, 2005 not knowing about new system.
I can't wait to come to NZ, is my and my hudsband's life dream!!!! hope these immigration guys will mind us too...your forum is GREAT!!! helped us out with so many things. It's good to know you're not alone in this.
And last thing we did (dont know if will work or not) changed our eoi last week after seeing on immig site that my qualification (I am chartered accountant in my country) is on immediate short list so I say why not? and change eoi saying that my job is on absolute skill shortage...and got 140. Now I am sooo worried...what if they will say I have tried to lie and will reject our eoi?
Has anyone heard or seen something like this? should I worry?
