Does the NZ Expo mainly cater for IT/Healthcare/Education positions?

Does anyone who has already been to an Expo remember any trade stands representing plumbing/gas fitting, heating?

Frances, there is a general smattering of recruitment consultants there, covering a whole range of professions and trades. Depending on the expo and the size of course. Even without that, it is still worth going to one if you haven't been - lots of information and hearing the "iccent" certainly makes my hair stand on the back of my neck. Plus you undoubtedly get to chat to like minded individuals which is a bonus.

Wonder which one it is? Search for it on the web and if it is one of the biggies you can email and get a list of the exhibitors who will attend.

I can't remember who it was, but someone mailed the people they wanted to see at the expo and they got invited in before the crowds. ;)

Well I had a reply from the Expo and the occupations we are interested in will not be there. Looks like a nice weekend relaxing at home!
