Hi,

I am planning to visit Auckland for a fortnight or so in the back end of April. Hence I am looking for a budget accomodation for a few weeks.

We already have recevied our permanent residency. The objective to visit and check accomodation, school for the kids etc.

Can you learned people assist me with my query? And any further guidance covering the dimensions that you think can help us shall be gladly received.

Thanks in anticipation,

Vivek

We stayed for several nights at the Top 10 campground on the Northshore(on Northcote Rd) for several nights. They have a range of options which include motel style rooms with kitchens and cleaning at the top end. We opted for a 1 bedroom motel style unit as it had a Queen bed which we needed because I am pregnant and sleep is at a premium. It was about $125 NZ a night but also had sufficient kithcen gear, TV, private bath and toilet, phone and a queen and twin bed in the bedroom with I think room for another to sleep in the living room.

Hope this is helfpul.

I would highly recommend Aspen House (http://www.aspenhouse.co.nz/. Cheap, cheerful, and central.
